For us, weddings have never been the destination.

They are the place where art, fashion, design and human emotion naturally come together.

We are Alexandra and Andrei, founders of Mezzinoi Studio, a husband and wife creative studio based between Paris and Bucharest. Photography brought us together long before it became our profession, transforming a shared passion into both a life partnership and an artistic journey.

We have never seen ourselves as traditional wedding photographers. A wedding is, for us, a space where real emotions meet visual storytelling, where architecture, movement, light and personal style create a unique atmosphere that can never be recreated.

Our vision comes from two different ways of seeing the world.

Growing up colorblind shaped Andrei’s relationship with photography. As a child, he discovered his artistic voice through charcoal and black-and-white portraiture after realizing that color was not the language through which he naturally expressed himself. Photography became a continuation of that vision.

Even today, he begins every wedding in black and white through his viewfinder. During the RAW development process, the colors slowly reveal themselves, almost like an analogue print emerging in a darkroom. For him, black and white is not a style, but the foundation of how he understands light, emotion and composition.

Alexandra brings the human connection that completes this artistic instinct.

While Andrei is driven by composition, light and visual exploration, Alexandra creates the trust and atmosphere that allow genuine moments to happen. She connects with people naturally, noticing the emotions, relationships and small interactions that often become the most meaningful photographs.

Together, these two perspectives define the visual language of Mezzinoi Studio.

Fashion has always been one of our strongest inspirations. Before discussing schedules or logistics, one of our first questions for our couples is:

"What are you wearing?"

Because every story begins with identity. The silhouette, textures, fabrics and personality behind an outfit become part of the visual narrative.

We created Mezzinoi Studio to build work inspired by art, fashion, architecture, design and honest human connection. Weddings simply became the place where all these worlds meet.

We believe every couple already carries a unique visual language.
